Talking Zombies #19

Welcome back to another zombified week of Talking Zombies with Ana & Sharonda. Today we will be recapping on Sunday nights episode: S04E05 “Internment”

Ana: … WOW. Okay, that was a bit intense. Can I just say that Carl and Rick looked hella badass shooting at those walkers? It was all *badada badada baddada boom boom boom* Hell, I’m surprised they didn’t have grenades too! #CoDStatus

Sharonda:  ROTFL!!!! Yes! I loved that scene. I thought it was super #badass...I was like “shoot em up!” That was really good, I was just….yeah wow is all I have for that one.

Ana:  haha. yeah, it was definitely a “rooting” moment for me. The way Rick looked at Carl while they were blowing off walker heads. I couldn’t tell if he was troubled or proud.

Sharonda: OMG! right?! I was so confused...like was he proud or just...you know. Like what have I created here...lols.

I thought Carl stepped up big time though. I gotta say...I was kinda proud of him and hell, if he didn’t step in and help...shit that mega herd would have hit the prison with a quickness. Did you see how they took down that fence?!

Ana: I think he was on the verge. He knew he needed help and he knew Carl wanted to help. And Carl definitely stepped up. They make a good team. And I’m kinda glad Carl has the mindset that he does. Rick can’t protect him til he’s 18 anymore. They’re living amongst Walkers!

Sharonda: I totally agree, plus he can’t be around all the time when things get bad. So Carl has to protect himself. He grew up...I don’t think he’s the same kid we saw in the last couple of episodes and for that I’m happy.

What did you think of the event inside of the prison? I wasn’t super impressed, thought it could have been handled better. But I’m glad Hershel, Sasha & Glenn survived.

Ana:  He definitely grew up. Good for him. Now he can help his dad. Even though Rick wants to keep him a child… It’s just not going to happen.

OMFG. THE PRISON. Although it wasn’t blow my mind crazy, I was scared for Hershel. I LOVE Hershel. So I’m glad he lived. A little upsetting that of course they saved Glenn. Now, I love Glenn, but nobody from the original group is dying. This show is crazy killing off people and not one of them is one of the originals. But, seriously, I’m glad he lived, because, well, Maggy needs her man and her future baby daddy. Can’t have lil zombie babies running around. That shit is just cray!

Sharonda: LOL @ Glenn not dying...smh, you are too much! But you know what? I can’t stand Glenn sometimes, but I swear I didn’t want him to die. How weird is that? o_O

Last season...a couple of the important and original people from the group got killed off..Laurie, Andrea, T-Bone (was that his name? or am I thinking of steak?) Anyways, I’m not sure what they’re going for this season...

Ana:  It’s not weird at all. Of course I don’t want any of the originals to die, but… how long they gonna be “lucky”. okay, let me stop. They’re awesome people, they don’t need to die. Long live the show!

What do you think about Hershel taking off with Michonne?

Sharonda: lol...I must be hungry then.

I thought that was cool. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in a actual scene together….interesting

When do you think Rick will tell Darryl about Carol? He so blissfully ignored it last week. Eating peas with Carl in their garden...smh. But I’m glad he told Maggie the truth about why he sent her packing and didn’t lie.

Ana: Aside from them questioning her in the beginning, no I haven’t seen them really communicate.

I think he’ll definitely tell Darryl next episode. and I’m scared as to what Darryl will do/say. Yeah and Maggie agreed with him. I agree with him too. I’m just worried about Darryl’s reaction.

Sharonda: Yeah...thats what I’m looking forward too. I think he’s going to be pissed, but I’m hoping once Rick tells him what she did...maybe that will soften it some?...

Oh and lets not forget about that little came of the Governor

Ana: He might agree with him he might not. We’ll just have to wait til next week.

Why doesn’t this guy just die? How in the hell has he been living so well? Did you see that end clip of him? He looked so….CLEAN. Last I remember Woodbury was overrun by walkers! Swear this man is the devil himself.

Sharonda: I don’t know. I mean, he looked really clean...cleaner than Rick and them at the prison. Like what’s up with that?  Overrun by Walkers and now burning down...idk. Oh, he is the devil, but the devil always bring the mess and I do believe the fun has just started with that nutter back.

Ana: Well, I for one am not looking forward to his reappearance. Can’t he just… accidentally fall into a ditch full of walkers? ….. oh, wait… he’ll probably live through that too -___-

Sharonda: ROFTL! lols. Exactly, the man has 9 lives I swear. Fall in a ditch, huh? lols. He’d probably be like “I’m all right!” lmbo!!

But, I’m exciting about his reappearance too. I think it will put a little extra excitement in the show. Hell, with them killing off all the folks from Woodbury, we about to be back down to our little group from the beginning...well minus a few here and there.

Ana:  Lmbo @ I’m all right. oh hell no. xD

lol. well, they didn’t lose everybody from Woodbury, just most of them. But they still have a decent sized group. I’m definitely holding on to my seat and wondering what will happen next. Of course its going to be hectic. I’m just oozing with anticipation and jittery with impatience.

Sharonda: Me too! This past episode was sick with Carl & Rick. Gotta be the best scene so far this season. And you’re right, they do have a decent size group left. I just hope enough of them survive all the madness the producers I’m sure have in store for us all. I think I’m more jittery than anything...lols.

Talking Zombies #18

Welcome back to another zombified week of Talking Zombies with Ana & Sharonda. Today we will be recapping on Sunday nights episode: S04E04 “Indifference”

Sharonda:  Damn! Rick kicked Carol to the curb...literally.

Ana: I was not expecting that! WTF! I don’t even know… wow.

Sharonda: I kind of get where’s he’s coming from. And I know in her mind she was stopping the virus, but it really didn’t do anything. Plus I just didn’t like her tone...like you expect me to just accept that you killed people. I’m sad to see her go, but in the end I think its good for the group.

Ana: Yeah, I agree with you. I don’t agree with what she did. At all. Yeah, she’s stepping up, but to kill people who aren’t even walkers? They were confined. They could have killed them if they turned.

I kinda knew Carol was leaving the show (or temp leaving we don’t know) Because. They always have these conversations with people who reminisce on some parts of their lives and next thing you know they die or they leave the group. lol.  

Sharonda: Exactly! She could have least waited until they were dead or a walker. I think at some point we will see her again because she’s technically not dead, sooo…...

Ana: What do you think about that guy with the alcohol? (What’s his name?)

Sharonda: lol...girl, I can’t remember his name either...is it Bob? IDK. Anyways, another liability. The quiet? please & spare me. Everyone is going through something..dealing with their issues and demons. Drinking isn’t going to help anything. All that is going to do is get people killed...like the dude when they were in the grocery store because he was reaching for that damn bottle, smh.

Ana: lol. We’ll call him Bob for now. xD But, I agree, definitely a liability. He needs to step his game up or just chill the hell out with all his alchy talk. IDK. But somethings going to happen with him.

Sharonda: lmbo @ chill with his alchy talk. I agree, I don’t think he will be there long. I see maybe a couple of more episodes and then that’s it.

I did like how Darryl stepped to his butt. I was like “get em Darryl!” lols.

Ana: lol. I was rooting for Darryl too. He takes this shit seriously. There are peoples lives at steak and all that guy can think about is losing himself at the bottom of a bottle? Seriously? WTF. #OverThat           

Sharonda: Yup! and someone needed to tell him what it is. Like how Michonne talked to Tyrese. like seriously #getoveryourself. I do believe that stupid will get you killed and as things get worse at the prison, we don’t need all this extra drama...people need to get over it and survive. I mean isn’t what this is all about?

Ana: So true. I’m already over Tyrese’s issues. He has a sister that is fighting for her life and he’s risking his life by not letting go of a walker? FOR REALS?! sigh.

Sharonda: ugh! he was getting on my nerves so bad. I was hoping his ass got bit! I’m so done with him right now. He better get it together or I’m going to start to wishing him dead like quickly.

Who knew Michonne was still looking for the Governor o_O I don’t think she should stop though. I think his sneaky butt is out there somewhere...lurking.

Ana: lol.  I don’t think she should stop either. I’m sure the Governor will come back to the show and with a mad ol’ vendetta. LAWDY! MORE DRAMA! WOOO xD

Sharonda: I think that would make for exciting times. I do :)

Ana: Back to Carol for a sec. Do you think that Rick should have let the group in on her secret and the group decides if she stays or goes?

Sharonda: Ah tricky question. I think for the most part that this was Rick stepping back into the leadership role do, I don’t even think he considered the group when he made his decision. I know some people will be mad when they find out. But..dang, idk.

It’s going to be people mad at him regardless. I’m more concerned to see how Darryl will take it, you know. He’s always been Rick’s right hand man since day one and now….

Ana: This week we have the one, the only Neyra from Darkest Addictions joining us! New lover of TWD, we had to hear her opinions on this weeks epi! Thanks for joining us Neyra and I hope you didn’t have too much trouble getting here. You know, walkers and all #SuperBadAssModeActivated

Sharonda:  Hey Neyra! Welcome to our lil world of walkers & crazy :D Maybe you can balance out me & Ana"s crazy while you're here.

*looks around* should we touch fists? Maybe say something in unison?  Lols.

Neyra: Hi Sharonda, Ana. Thanks for having me today, I LOOVEE TWD! ...idk about balance Sharonda, but... we will see xD

Ana: AHH… Well, now we know who has no soul! lol. I’m kidding. BUT WOW! Carol was the one who killed those two from last epi…

Sharonda: I CANNOT believe Carol! Carol?! Totally blew my mind. Now thats what you call a shocker...

Neyra: I think Carol is turning into a bad ass, I freaking LOOVE her. And honestly I wasn't really a fan of Karen, and idk who David was, sooo *shrugs* LOL

Ana: Lol. Yeah, Karen seemed kind of...mehh, but we need some mehh in TWD! lol. It balances all the crazy!

As for Carol turning into a bad ass… that’s all good and gravy, but once she starts killing people in cold blood like that.. holy facking shit. She didn’t even tell anyone. BUT, she did have a breakdown after she told Tyrese she was sorry about Karen… hmm.

Sharonda: Karen who? David? Hmmmmm...I don’t know a David..lols! But we knew those folks from Woodbury weren't going to last long...smh. But yeah..everyone seems to be losing it. If you turned into a Walker by being nuts, then this show would be so over, lmbo.

Neyra: oh I agree she shouldn't be killing anyone in cold blood and all, but when you think about it, they were already dead.. sorry, but I'm with Carol. She was going to contain it, can't say I wouldn't have done the same. Too bad it happened after EVERYONE else decided they wanted to get infected too >.< … lol@ Sharonda

Ana:  lol @ those folks from Woodbury weren’t going to last. I was just talking to someone about how that’s fucked up that they saved all of those people...just to kill them off 2 epi’s later. WTF is wrong with these directors xD

ooh. well, here’s our nuts counter: Rick, RICK, RICKRICKRICK. Well, yeah. He’s definitely a walker. xD

HERSHEL! I hope he doesn’t catch that nasty flu. I really like him. He’s definitely the groups level headed one. Helps keep Rick in check.

Sharonda: Rick...why the hell he had to go back to crazytown and what do they do? They bring back the crazy. Me dont like. Why cant we get the nice normal semi-crazy Rick *sigh* but I digress. At least he gave Tyrese a Swolled up eye. Thought he was turning into a complete wimp for a minute.

Lawd don’t let Hershel go...he’s the only sane one left! Everyone else is....is nuts.

Neyra: oh come on you two, you honestly can't expect at least ONE person not to go insane. I hate how Rick is being a pansy, all "no I don't want to lead anymore" what he should've done was slapped Carl a good one, but anyways, I think he's right to be going all Cray-Cray, he's always had to be the stronger one, always helping people only to have them die.. that's one hell of a burden.

*PS, I don't want Hershel to die either :(

Ana: I think they made Glenn super sick because how fucked up would it be if only the Woodbury folks got sick? I mean… Rick and Darryl were in that cell block as well… Why tf aren’t they sick? #QuestioningThisShitHellaHard

Sharonda: lols @ slapped Carl a good one. Maybe they're immune or something, but that is a good question though....its something to think about. And if you think about it, he's the only one from the original group that got sick...

You guys think Glenn is gonna be there much longer? Especially with all the problems him & Maggie been having...

Neyra: I hope they find a cure, that would suck for Glenn to die, but like Ana said it'd be fucked up to only see Woodbury people die. And as for the Magg/Glenn issue, I think she's just a botched. She always kind of has been with him. She either wants too much or not as much as he. He's justified in NOT wanting a fam, but then I agree with her that they shouldn't let fear keep them from living.. idk ladies we shall see.

Ana: I’m feeling for Tyrese. He lost his lady love. Now Sasha is all kinds of sick. I don’t want her to die. She can be like… a mini Michonne. xDDD Hella bad ass. If they kill her off, I think we might lose Tyrese as well. What say you two?                    

Sharonda: Okay. I know Tyrese was upset...BUT damn fighting everyone?! He needs to get a dang on grip. I mean how long he even knew whats her name anyways? foolish self. Because like you said Ana, he still has Sasha; you know? I kinda disliked him for a minute and then sitting in the damn car while the walkers are surrounding them. I’m like screaming at my TV. I could not believe him! So what you just give up?! What about Sasha?! Alright, let me stop before I get mad again.

I like Sasha...I think she would be a great addition to the group, but we shall see who survives this latest craziness the producers have heaped upon us.

Okay we have got to talk about Carol...What the?! She done went all bad ass on us. I know she's thinking that this will possibly help, but straight up killing folks? I dont know...

How do you think Rick is going to handle that? Hell Carol might cut his ass up & burn him too...lols xD

Neyra: I think I'm the pessimist of this week's Talking Zombies.. I didn't give two flying butterflies about Tyrese's pain. He didn't know her THAT well.. Smh

Rick will probably just speak with her, but if anyone else find out? Darryl wanted to put a bullet to the one who did it. Would he be able to if he finds out out was her?

Ana: Lol Neyra, I’m with you on the whole Tyrese ordeal. I just don’t want to have to lose if he loses his sister. The fact that he’s losing it this bad over his lover friend and his sister is still fighting this infection? I don’t know if I wanna witness what happens when that happens. He just might set up camp with Rick in Crazy Town.

As for Carol. I like that she’s stepping up. Before she was more or less the “mother hen” of the group. Watching over people and helping where needed. Now she’s taking a stand. And I think it’s about damned time. Too much time has passed since her daughter died. She shoulda gone into ass kicking mode soon after. At least I think so.

Sharonda: Nods head in agreement...I like what you ladies are saying.  I don't think Darryl will like her very much if he knew. I think it will for sure change how he sees her, because I think thats what attracted her to him in the first place...the fact that she was all maternal like that *shrugs*.

Neyra: And, speaking of Darryl and Carol... I was always hoping they'd be getting together sometime soon :(  I love their chemistry... *sigh*

Ana: I love their chemistry too… they’re just dragging shit on and on and on…. oh lawdy. We need some Darryl lovin’ xD Maggie and Glenn are not cutting it anymore with their wanna be domestic problems.

Sharonda: lol @ Maggie & Glenn...I agree with this too. Getting about tired of their "couples issues". I dont know if they're going to take it further with Darryl & Carol, I mean I love their chemistry too...but I don’t see it happening. Hell, even Tyrese got busy before they did AND he just got there o_O

Besides, do you guys see the relationship developing between him & Michonne?  Now that could be quite interesting.

Neyra: Yeah, it was cute at first, but after what, two seasons of their issues I'm about tired of them lol. Hmm, Darryl and Michonne? o.O that would be something to talk about, but they are both so conservative with their feelings, imagine all the awkwardness lol.

So, Did anyone else have a heart attack when they saw the mega herd? Where in the world did they come from??? o.O

Ana: OH. MY. SHITTING. MY. PANTS. xDDD  That shit was scarrrrry! I was like.. WTF. HOW IN THE HELL?! #PrayingLikeNoOtherThatILiveThroughThisHerd

Sharonda: I just sat there staring. I mean how the hell are the herds coming together like this? Is it something attracting them?  #thatshitisscary
