Dirty Little Secret #8

Dirty Little Secret is a weekly meme hosted by Under the Covers. Every Thursday they get to know other bloggers and their readers more intimately by asking a question hoping to reveal dirty little secrets.
To join in the fun all you need to do is:

1. Be a follower of Under the Covers.
2. Create a post in your blog taking the meme image and copy instructions.
3. Answer the question they propose! This can be done in any way you like, post a video, write a post etc.

 This Week, the Question Is:
What books have recently made you cry?

I'm usually not a big crybaby but I'd have to say Moon Child by J.R. Rain & All three books from the Hunger Games Trilogy. *sigh*  Definitely tear jerkers.

Moon Child is an urban fantasy book in the Samantha Moon series about a mother who was turned into a vampire and is trying her best to live her life. In Moon Child her son becomes ill and you get to see all the emotional pain behind Samantha's eyes and you cant bear the thought of a mother losing her baby boy. She does everything in her power to save him and when her son tells her "It's okay mommy, don't be scared, I'm not scared" it just wrenched my heart that much more :(

Hunger Games.... wow.. just, It's sad.. read it and you'll know why! ;( It took me forever to pick up this series, because I just wasn't okay with reading about children slaughtering each other... but I finally did & I'm glad I did. Despite the fact that I cried like a baby.

What books have recently made you cry?

  9. Hmm haven't heard the JR Rain book. I feel like I'm going to be so emotionally drained after reading that. Anytime babies are involved I get way too into it. It's weird cuz in real life I'm not much of a kids person lol
and I bawled like a baby at the end of Mockingjay. Like I had to calm myself down before I can finish the rest.
