Feature & Follow #5

Feature & Follow is a weekly meme hosted by, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Each week, each host will have their own Feature Blog which allows them to show off more new blogs! It is a fun way to keep in touch with fellow bloggers, meet new bloggers and gain new followers.

This Weeks Question Is:

Summer Reading. What was your favorite book that you were REQUIRED to read when you were in school?
Hmm. I've answered this question before, but... I have a few, my  favorite books that I was required to read were:

Under the Feet of Jesus by Helena Maria Viramontes (which I read in the summer before I started my sophomore year of high school, it was a required summer read)
The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd (I don't quite remember when I read this one, but I was in high school)
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (I read this my freshman year in college.. great book!)

What about you? What was your favorite book that you were required to read when you were in school?
